Person Centred Art Therapy Skills Certificate - Essex Course

Dr Carl Rogers wrote that this course, developed by Liesl Silverstone is ‘An effective course in person-centred art therapy based on the philosophy which empowers the person and helps to make them more self-directed’. 

Working with images is a powerful medium. Images can tap into material from the subconscious, and help us develop valuable insights leading to growth, self-awareness and integration. On this course the person-centred approach and imaging in art form are bought together as complementary processes.

This is an intensive experiential course that will develop your self-awareness and enable you to develop the skills you need to be able to work therapeutically with art in a variety of professional settings.

This course is certificated by the Person Centred Art Therapy Association, which was founded by Liesl Silverstone.

PCATA are excited to be running the certificate course at two venues this autumn:

The course is run as experiential weekend intensives over six weekends which makes it easier to fit in if you have work and family commitments.
