POEM: Cocoon Baby
Sometimes I want to be a baby
A baby in a cocoon cocoon
A baby in a cocoon
Not a racoon but a baby all snuggled and warm, all safe and sound
A baby in a cocoon cocoon
A baby in a cocoon
Not a baboon but a baby wrapped tight and snug, all safe and sound
A baby in a cocoon cocoon
A baby in a cocoon
Warm, safe, snuggled relief – just for a moment so I can forget the world
Sometimes I want to be a baby in a cocoon – just for a moment; just to be
To spend a moment, just a moment being a baby in a cocoon, cocoon
A baby in a cocoon
Don’t you?
